The Phoenix (AZ) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Unlike other hospitals, the majority of funding for St. Jude comes from generous donors. It costs $2.2 million per day to operate St. Jude and public contributions provide 75 percent of the funds necessary to operate the hospital.
Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food. While St. Jude accepts insurance, many services provided by St. Jude have never been covered by insurance, and will not be in the future.
Since 2008, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. has served as the national volunteer partner for St. Jude Sunday of Hope™. Kappa members throughout the country partnered with churches in their communities to donate a “love offering” to support the children of St. Jude. The Phoenix (AZ) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. stands ready to continue supporting this noble objective.
We ask churches, church members, everyone in the Phoenix metropolitan area, and our friends across the U.S. for your support in donating to the St. Jude Sunday of Hope program. All donations received between now and Thursday, November 30, 2017, are sent directly to St. Jude as a bundled total from the Phoenix, Arizona area. No matter the amount you decide to donate, your generous donation goes toward saving the life of a child.
