Phoenix (AZ) Alumni Chapter 2017-2018 GOALS (KPI’s)

For the second year, the Phoenix Alumni Chapter has entwined the 33rd Grand Polemarch’s 6-Point Initiatives into the very fabric of our business at the local chapter level.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are a small number of agreed-upon measurements that reflect the organization’s critical goals for success — a numerical snapshot. For the Phoenix Alumni Chapter, our KPI’s are the 6 points outlined in the 33rd Grand Polemarch’s 6-Point Plan. KPI’s are measurable, objective, and actionable. You may have heard the term “metrics” and wonder if they are the same things as KPI’s. Think of it this way: you have dozens of metrics that let you know that things are running fine on a daily basis. With KPI’s, you elevate a few of your most important metrics to become strategic touchstones for your team or service — Key Performance Indicators. In other words, we operationalized the 6-Point Plan as a way to quantify our success.

The following is the current high-level status of our efforts towards achieving these initiatives (KPI’s) during the 2017-2018 fraternal year.

  • Participate in 2 community services events

  • Form a “Search-for-a-Home” Committee
  • Implement a 3-year plan to find a home

  • Attend “Interest” meetings at NAU
  • Decide if we can reactivate the NAU chapter

  • Hold 1 reclamation event
  • Reclaim 4 members

  • Attract 5 or more candidates to each Informational Meeting
  • Intake 6 or more new members

  • Officers develop a succession plan by May 2018
  • Identify key officers to succeed the current leadership team
